LOOK OUT FOR THE FINE PRINT 
- A range of exclusions apply when a claim will not be as such as damage that occurs as a result of restoring, cleaning, repairing, leaking or over winding. Make sure that you know when you will be able to claim.
- Valuable articles that are mobile such as jewellery, cameras, laptops and cellphones should generally be specified if cover outside your home premises is to apply.

- Valuation certificates of jewellery no older than 2 years are required in order to ensure that value of the articles can be validated in the event of a claim. In addition serial numbers of assets need to be kept on record to establish ownership.
